About us
The Pilbara Innovation Partnership (PIP) is a long-term collaboration between the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), and Rio Tinto.
PIP supports industry-led innovation to strengthen the Pilbara’s pastoral sector—focusing on practical outcomes, regional relevance, and long-term value for producers, the environment, and the wider industry.
Mission: Working together for a shared vision of profitable beef production that values the land, people, and environment of the Pilbara.
