About us
The Pilbara Innovation Partnership (PIP) is a long-term collaboration between the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA), and Rio Tinto.
PIP is a team of experts pulled together from across the agricultural sector to support producer-led innovation, strengthen the Pilbara’s pastoral sector, and produce practical outcomes.
Outcomes so far;
- Pocket guides to ecosystem restoration decision making.
- Pocket guides to flora, fauna, and country type.
- Case study analysis of early weaning methods.
